MICR and Secure Font Sets

Elfring Fonts makes all the fonts you need for check printing. Our product line includes micrfonts, signature, secure, and even logo fonts. We offer MICR or E-13B fonts in TrueType and PCL formats, so you can print your own MICR encoding line on your checks. Our Secure Fonts™ are used to print the check amount and the payee name. These special fonts are very difficult to alter or forge. We can also convert your signature or company logo into a font. These fonts come in TrueType format (for Windows), or PCL LaserJet format (for Unix, DOS, or AS/400s).

To print MICR encoding you need special magnetic toner and a laser printer. Magnetic toner is required, by law, for all MICR or E13-B check encoding lines. You also need a source of check paper. Special paper stock is used to make your checks hard to alter or forge.
