What Type of License Do You Need?

Do you need to include our fonts in your software product? If so, you need a distribution license. A distribution license gives you permission to bundle our fonts into your product.

Do you need to include our fonts in a pdf file? Our retail fonts will not embed in pdf files. When you embed a font in a pdf file you are actually appending a copy of our fonts to each pdf file you create. To embed our fonts in a pdf you need an embeddable distribution license.

When you purchase one of our products you are allowed to install that software on one computer, for use by a single person. If you would like to use our software on more than one computer, we offer multiple user licenses at greatly reduced prices.

For example, suppose you purchase one copy of our MICR fonts at $139.50. With a multiple user license, you can add 5 more computers or users for just an additional $139.50.

Elfring Font Inc products are licensed for use on a single computer by a single person. Complete details of this license are included with each product we sell and on this web site. In addition, our software installation programs present the product license to you before you install the software.

This license agreement explains our warranty and maintenance terms along with your rights as a consumer.
